Principal & Managing Partner
Matthew Ricciardella
Matthew Ricciardella is a self made entrepreneur, business executive, investor and philanthropist. Matthew is the proud Founder and Principal Manager of Crystal View Capital. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry Mr. Ricciardella is responsible for the management and oversight of all Crystal View Capital Fund aspects including investment strategy, fundraising, asset management, and operations. He currently manages over $400 Million in real estate assets. Matthew inspires confidence and helps others achieve their full potential with his strong leadership expertise and alignment of interest in all Funds. With a personal investment of $10M+ in Crystal View Capital Fund I, II and III, Matthew has created a very strong personal bond with his stakeholders. Under Mr. Ricciardella’s leadership, Fund I’s investors have realized an average internal rate of return of 47% since its inception. Matthew has earned a reputation for dealing fairly, honestly and with integrity with his stakeholders and sellers which he believes is his most valuable asset. In Mr.Ricciardella's free time, He loves spending time with his two sons and loving wife, Jessica, who is a co-founder of the company.
Chief Operating & Financial Officer
Michael Hammill
Michael Hammill is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Manager and is responsible for management and oversight of the Fund, including operations, asset management, fundraising, investment analysis, financial reporting, and investor relations. He is a member of the Fund’s Investment Committee and Valuation Committee. Mr. Hammill has over 15 years of experience in the real estate and finance industries which includes roles as co-founder and managing principal for a real estate investment company, senior vice president for a publicly traded REIT, and vice president in real estate investment banking. Mr. Hammill earned a BS in economics, a Master of Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University and is a CFA charter holder.
Director of Capital Formation & Investor Relations
Ben Brundage
Ben Brundage is the Director of Capital Formation and Investor Relations. Ben joined Crystal View Capital in June 2024 and will spearhead Crystal View Capital’s efforts in capital formation strategies and strengthen relationships with investors. With over a decade of experience in financial services and investor relations, Ben brings a wealth of expertise to the firm. His deep understanding of real-estate and proven track record in cultivating investor confidence and serving clients with excellence will play a pivotal role in driving Crystal View Capital’s growth trajectory. Prior to joining Crystal View Capital, Ben Brundage held key positions in political capital development, real-estate development, and most recently in the private fund space where he successfully executed comprehensive investor relations strategies and contributed to significant fundraising initiatives. His experience in navigating real estate and his commitment to client-centric service align perfectly with Crystal View Capital’s core values.
Vice President of Operations
Jessica Stender
Jessica Stender is Vice President of Operations for the management team. After relocating to Las Vegas from Chicago, and over 15 years of working in educational operations management, Ms. Stender joined the team in 2021. Prior to her joining the CVC team, she focused on operational growth and process and procedure refinement and has a similar role after joining the team. Ms. Stender is responsible for the development and implementation of key operational strategies for over 90 employees both in the corporate management office as well as on-site at every asset. She is an operational partner for every department in the organization including acquisitions and development, marketing, accounting, and investor relations. Her key focus on operating lean financially, but abundant in productivity has allowed her to execute on companywide initiatives for scale and sustainable growth.
