Track Record
We operate what we own.
Crystal View Capital was built by an operator who believed the best returns come from direct control — not from allocating capital to someone else’s platform. Over a decade, that conviction grew into a firm managing $650M+ in real assets across 31 states, with a team of 200+ and a track record of realized exits that speaks for itself.
Geographic Reach
Operating across 31 states.
One operating platform, coast to coast. Manufactured housing communities and self-storage facilities in the markets where supply is fragmented, competition is limited, and institutional buyers want to acquire what we build.
Concentrated in the Upper Midwest — Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa — with operating presence across the Midwest, South, and Mountain West.

How We Operate
Principles, not lip service.
01
Principles, not lip service.
We manage what we own. Every property runs through our in- house platform. If something underperforms, we fix it directly — there is no third-party manager absorbing friction and passing through cost. The operating platform is the moat.
02
Disciplined Acquisition
We only buy what we can buy right — off-market, with a clear value-add thesis, at a basis that gives the portfolio room to perform. Speed of capital deployment is not a goal. Quality of basis is what compounds.
03
Transparent by Default
Quarterly reports say what happened, including the hard parts. That consistency is why the majority of Fund I and II investors reinvested in subsequent funds. No highlight reel — the real picture.
04
Aligned Capital
The management team’s capital is in the fund alongside every LP. No special terms. No preferential share class. The return we earn is the return you earn.
Leadership
The people running the firm.
Matt Ricciardella
Founder & CEO
Matt founded Crystal View Capital on a conviction that the best real estate returns come from operating, not outsourcing. Over 19 years in real estate and $500M+ in personal transactions, he built CVC from a single acquisition into a vertically integrated platform managing 28,000+ units. He has invested $15M+ of his own capital as a standard LP alongside investors.
Ben Brundage
Director of Capital Formation & Investor Relations
Ben leads CVC’s capital raising strategy and investor relationships. With over a decade of experience in financial services and investor relations, he brings a track record of building long-term investor confidence.
Jessica Stender
Vice President of Operations
Jessica leads operational strategy and execution across CVC’s manufactured housing and self-storage portfolio. She drives the regional leadership structures, centralized support functions, and training programs that hold operating consistency across 200+ employees and 31 states. Her work spans acquisition integration, portfolio stabilization, and long-term asset performance — the operational layer that turns CVC’s sourcing advantage into realized returns. Known for hands-on leadership and a focus on accountability, Jessica works directly with executive leadership, asset management, and onsite teams to align day-to-day execution with the firm’s investment objectives.
Depth, Not Dependence
Built to operate beyond any one individual.
Matt founded the company and remains deeply involved in the areas he’s most passionate about. The business was built to operate independently of any single person. A full leadership team runs the firm, with cross-training across every critical function and a clear succession plan in place.
Matt’s involvement enhances the business — it isn’t a prerequisite for it.
